About the project

Ammonia refrigerators use ammonia gas as a refrigerant. Ammonia is a chemical compound that turns into a gas at room temperature and has a very low boiling point (about 34 degrees Celsius). Due to its efficient thermodynamic properties and environmental stability, this material becomes a suitable option for use in the cycle of industrial cold stores12. The advantages of using ammonia in ammonia refrigerators are:

Low cost of production: Ammonia occurs naturally in the environment and is available in abundance.
Low boiling point: Ammonia has a very low boiling point, which allows it to be cooled to lower temperatures.
Compatibility with the environment: Ammonia is an environmentally friendly refrigerant and does not pollute .
In addition, ammonia refrigerators are also more efficient in terms of energy. Therefore, ammonia is used as an effective option in industrial refrigeration systems.
